Keep up the great work Michael. Your pictures have provided firefighters an opportunity to reflect on some very difficult time. As with everything else Matt, if you don't like this website, then don't look at it. Pictures like these are vital to firefighter critique after a major incident like this. Keep up the great work Michael!

Matt, none of this will matter to you as your mind appears to be made up about me, but to say that I don't care about those affected by the scenes I photograph is naive at best. If you browse through the site, I think you'll find most of my photos do not focus on what is being destroyed but rather the valiant efforts of the firefighters working to save whatever they can. I understand the emotions felt at these scenes more than you will ever know. It's true that I don't know all of those involved, you got me there, but that doesn't mean I haven't known any of them. I have spent my entire adult life in service to my country and community, and as a firefighter, have dedicated my own life to protecting those in danger. The reason I photograph these scenes is perhaps something that can only be understood by those who have crawled through the smoke and flames. Good day. ~MK

I think its pretty !+$%ed up that you can take pictures of something that is very personal and devastating. you don't know the people who live in the house or even care. Its a !+$%ty thing to do for this bull!+$% website of yours.
