Rescue 3 from the Greater Rochester International Airport Fire Department is pictured near a Russian T-72 Battle Tank outside the Marine Corps Reserve Center in Chili, NY. The reserve center is currently home to Alpha Company of the Anti-Terrorism Battalion, 4th Marine Division but was previously home to the 8th Tank Battalion. This particular tank was captured from the Iraqi Republican Guard during Operation Desert Storm and returned to the 8th Tank Battalion for display in front of their unit headquarters. After the unit's mission changed several years ago, the Marines obtained permission to keep the tank in it's place as a reminder of the 8th Tank Battalion's history.
