Extrication Demo 3/23/17
March 23, 2017 - Rochester Airport firefighters conducted an extrication demonstration for a class of NYS EMT students on a bitterly cold morning. The instructor of the class requested the demonstration to let his new students experience what it's like to operate at a people trapped accident, and experience the noise of the equipment for perhaps the first time. In order to understand what it's like for a patient, the entire class rotated through the vehicle as the firefighters removed the doors and roof from the vehicle.
